The Crucifix

Oduro Nketia Anyan, better known by the stage name Christ Image, is a Ghanaian Rapper and Producer. As an indie artiste, Christ Image aka Ci has been collaborating with other artists since 2008 when he released his single “116” which appeared on dasouth.com (now jamthehype.com)

In 2010, Ci collaborated with Preachers to remix “Get Yo Christ On”. The following year Christ Image was featured by Preachers on their smashing hit single, “Go Hard” which won Most Wanted Rap Song at Christian Community Music Awards in 2013.

Christ Image released a controversial song “Letter to Sarkodie” which was addressed to Best Rapper of The Year Award Winner (at the Ghana Music Awards), Sarkodie. Upon successful release, Christ Image followed up with his first mixtape “Manna” in 2012.

He released another mixtape in September, 2013, “Hiplife is Dead” which featured top songs like Who Be The Don, Let’em Know (aka Hiplife is Dead). The album featured Counter Attack and co-members of Team Rest Assured (T.R.A.); Too Deep, Regardless, OBJ and RS-Keys. He released a follow up mixtape called “Duck For Cover” two months later that same year.

In 2015, Christ Image released a self-produced single “I’m Saved” which debuted No. 6 on Ashanti Gospel Songs Chart on Kapital Radio.

As a producer, Christ Image has produced songs for the International Award Winner, Percy Freeman, Thunder of SI Unit, Lex Wealths among others. Amongst his works is Percy Freeman’s “Who Say God No Dey” which was nominated for Best International Rap/Hip Hop Song 2016 at the just ended Gospel Music Awards, Italy.
